Job Summary :

We are seeking a Partnerships Sales Manager to drive strategic alliances and business development in the electronics recycling industry. This role will focus on building relationships with trade groups, industry associations, government agencies, and other intermediaries that influence businesses and organizations involved in electronic waste (e-waste) disposal.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in B2B partnerships, sustainability, and circular economy initiatives. This role is critical to expanding our network, increasing e-waste collection opportunities, and driving sustainable growth through strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities :

Partnership Development & Relationship Management

  • Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships with trade organizations, industry groups, corporations, ITAD brokers and non-profits to increase e-waste collection and recycling efforts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with electronics manufacturers, retailers, IT asset managers, and corporate sustainability leaders to promote responsible recycling solutions.
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements and joint initiatives that drive mutual value.

Sales & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute a partnership sales strategy to drive lead generation and new business through trade groups, membership organizations.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create co-branded initiatives, sponsorships, and educational campaigns with partners.
  • Educate partners and potential customers on the benefits of certified e-waste recycling, circular economy initiatives, and compliance with R2 / e-Stewards / ISO 14001 standards.
  • Track and measure the success of partnerships, reporting on revenue impact, volume of collected e-waste, and sustainability metrics.
  • Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and attract new partners.
  • Stay informed about legislation, industry trends, and sustainability policies affecting electronic waste management.
  • Develop content, presentations, and white papers to position the company as a trusted partner in sustainable e-waste solutions.
  • Qualifications & Requirements :

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably in electronics recycling, sustainability, IT asset management, or environmental services.
  • Experience working with trade associations, government agencies, corporate sustainability teams, or industry groups is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a track record of forging successful strategic alliances.
  • Understanding of e-waste regulations, sustainability trends, and compliance requirements (e.g. R2, e-Stewards)
  • Ability to develop and present compelling business cases to potential partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics tools, and lead generation strategies.
  • Passion for sustainability, circular economy principles, and corporate responsibility.
