We specialize in locally produced good, artisan products, and antiques the connect the community in the present and celebrate our past.

Overview
The Retail Store Supervisor at Mayflower Mercantile plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while providing exceptional customer service. This position involves overseeing daily retail activities, managing staff, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.

Duties

• Supervise daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular audits.
• Handle cash register operations, including processing transactions and balancing cash drawers.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning to meet store goals.
• Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in the hiring process.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance store visibility and sales.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.

Skills
