Job Summary: The Comptroller at Full Circle Industrial will oversee all financial, accounting, and administrative functions within the organization, insurance administration, and employee benefits such as 401(k). The role is critical in maintaining financial health, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic business decisions. The Comptroller will manage insurance across all company operations, oversee accounting software systems, and collaborate closely with HR to ensure employee benefit plans are administered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

· Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

· Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.

· Insurance Management: Manage and maintain all company insurance policies, including general liability, property, workers' compensation, and other required coverage.

· Oversee insurance renewals, claims, and risk management strategies across all company locations.

· Collaborate with insurance brokers to ensure adequate coverage and cost-effective policies.

· Oversee the administration of the company's 40l(k) retirement plan.

· Ensure compliance with IRS

· Manage employee education and communication regarding 401(k) benefits and contributions.

Human Resources Collaboration:

· Collaborate with HR to support payroll, employee benefits administration, and overall HR compliance.

· Work with HR on compensation analysis, employee onboarding, and financial aspects of employee relations.

· Ensure seamless integration between HR and financial systems for benefits and payroll accuracy.

Accounting Software Management:

· Manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's accounting software.

· Ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, and efficient use of accounting and financial management systems.

· Train and support staff on the use of financial systems and software.

· Develop and implement cost control measures, including production, transportation, and logistics.

· Conduct financial analyses to identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings.

Regulatory Compliance and Auditing:

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.

· Coordinate internal and external financial audits, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

· Maintain and enforce internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial records.

· Strategic Financial Planning: Provide financial analysis and insights to support company-wide strategic planning and growth initiatives.

· Develop long-term financial strategies in collaboration with senior management

· to ensure sustainable growth.

· Prepare detailed financial reports for the CFO, General Manager, and other key stakeholders.

· Communicate financial performance and key metrics to management, including risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

· Experience in insurance management and employee benefits administration, including 401(k) plans.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage cross-departmental functions, including HR and compliance.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in an office setting with occasional visits to operational sites.

· Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.

Working Conditions:

· Primarily office-based with some travel to operational sites as required.

Compensation:

· Competitive salary commensurate with experience; 90K to 140K

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
