SUMMARY:
Our Northcutt facility located in Dayton is seeking a RN. The successful candidate will collaborate with the appropriate providers to integrate substance use disorders care for the clients. The successful candidate must triage care for clients and consult with the appropriate staff as necessary and within their licensure standards to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained for all clients.
Key Duties:
- Complete assigned nursing schedule visits in-person or via telehealth as indicated by schedule needs.
- Efficiently complete EHR documentation.
- Perform IM depot injections.
- Perform SQ depot injections
- Perform venipuncture.
- Obtain vital signs.
- Conduct client skills groups as required.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure Joint Commission compliance.
- Float to other facilities as requested.
- Attend and participate in continuing education, online training, and staff meetings.
- Educate clients by providing direction and guidance in a professional manner.
- Cultivate effective and respectful rapport with clients and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of client’s pertinent health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as requested within the RN licensure standards.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
- Must possess a valid CPR/BLS Certification or be willing to obtain certification during orientation.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with emotionally charged individuals and issues.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to Mental Health and Addiction Services.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
