Role Overview:
As our accountant, you will handle all facets of accounting for multiple businesses using QuickBooks and cash basis accounting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a growth mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to think outside the box.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting for multiple businesses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain financial records in QuickBooks for cash basis accounting.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Assist external accounting firm with tax preparation and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for financial optimization and cost-saving.
- Collaborate with teams across various businesses to support their financial needs.
- Adapt to evolving business requirements and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in small business accounting, preferably managing multiple entities.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and cash basis accounting.
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
