Position: Lead Physical Therapist

Location: Purcellville, VA

Salary: $48-$55/hour (equivalent to $99,840 – $114,400/year based on a 40-hour workweek)

Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 (paid over 3 months)

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Physical Therapist for our Purcellville clinic to provide high-quality client care while mentoring PTAs, new hires, and PT students. This role is ideal for a PT who enjoys clinical leadership, education, and collaboration while maintaining a client-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.

• Work with a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative rehabilitation.

• Ensure proper documentation in WebPT and maintain compliance with Medicare and commercial insurance guidelines.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Act as a Clinical Instructor for PT students

• Provide mentorship to PTAs and newly hired therapists.

• Assist with onboarding new PT team members.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with OTs, PTAs, and wellness staff to provide comprehensive care.

• Participate in weekly team meetings to review cases, discuss goals, and improve clinic operations.

Marketing & Community Outreach

• Help grow the clinic by building relationships with referral sources, local physicians, and the community.

• Participate in clinic marketing efforts, open houses, and community events.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary & Incentive Program

• $48-$55/hour (equivalent to $99,840 – $114,400/year based on a 40-hour workweek)

• Profit-sharing bonuses based on clinic growth and performance metrics

PTO & Continuing Education

• 3 weeks (15 days) of PTO and 6 federal holidays annually

• $1,000 Continuing Education Stipend per year for courses, certifications, or conferences

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia or eligible for licensure

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (mentorship experience preferred)

• Passion for mentorship, clinical education, and teamwork

• Strong documentation and time management skills
