Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report any irregularities or potential threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict resolution techniques.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
