We’re seeking a results-driven Produce Broker to join our high-impact supply team. This role is ideal for someone with deep industry knowledge, a passion for sustainable agriculture, and a proven track record of produce sourcing and trading. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with growers and buyers, negotiating produce sales, and helping Full Harvest scale its marketplace for surplus and imperfect produce.Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and grow a network of growers, shippers, and suppliers across the U.S.
  • Source surplus, imperfect, and conventional produce for sale through the Full Harvest platform.
  • Match supply with demand by negotiating sales with food and beverage buyers.
  • Stay informed on produce market trends, pricing, and availability to inform deals and procurement strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions, pricing, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Operations to improve the supply chain and enhance customer experience.
  • Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities to expand our produce offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as a produce broker, trader, or in a sourcing/sales role in the fresh produce industry.
  • Strong knowledge of produce categories, quality specifications, and seasonal availability.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deals and relationships simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and improving the food system.
  • Familiarity with produce logistics and cold chain management a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and marketplace platforms preferred.
