What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Assistant Shift Manager position at Full House Resorts?
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the surveillance department. Protect company assets by observing gaming and non-gaming activities to ensure safety, integrity, security and company policies and procedures are followed. Supervise staff and department activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Excellent internal/external guest service;
- Responsible for all employees assigned during shift;
- Maintain a professional relationship with gaming commission agents;
- Continuously monitor CCTV;
- Ensure that the integrity and confidential in the department is maintained;
- Provide comprehensive training concerning all table games, slots, cage, count areas, internal controls and secure procedures;
- Maintain a team approach to all shift activities;
- Observe, document and report on all areas under surveillance to ensure compliance of internal regulations, policies and procedures, and all state and federal regulations.
- Must possess a working knowledge and maintain the knowledge of all casino games, policies and procedures, card counting techniques and having a working knowledge of different cheating techniques.
- Write detailed investigative reports.
- Document and report any disciplinary issues to the Director or Surveillance and/or Surveillance Shift Manager.
- Effectively communicate with all departments.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A in the Illinois Gaming Board Minimum Internal Control Standards
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School/GED
- 1-2 years related experience
Preferred:
- Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Knowledge of all casino games

Knowledge of CCTV system, working knowledge of Microsoft office programs such as Excel and Word

Exposed to smoke, bright lights, loud noise

Able to climb, stoop, bend, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

$20.90 - $34.65
