Position: Abilities Specialist
We're looking for a compassionate Abilities Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our participants. In this role, you will work one-on-one with an amazing participant, providing daily support to help them achieve personal goals and engage in their community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal assistance support: Helping with daily activities like eating, mobility, personal hygiene, and more
- Community integration: Promoting social opportunities and community involvement
- Building meaningful relationships: Creating strong rapport with the participant and their support circle
- Empowering independence: Encouraging self-determination and fostering growth

What You'll Bring:
We are looking for candidates who are motivated to make a positive difference in the lives of others. While prior experience is a plus, we will train the right person!
- High school diploma or GED (Skills evaluation available if you don't have this qualification)
- Must be 18 or older
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- TB clearance (Full Life will assist with obtaining it)
- Experience in caregiving or special needs is preferred but not required

- $500 sign-on bonus (paid in two installments: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days)

Location:
This position is based in Captain Cook, with flexible hours to suit your schedule. We are also hiring for other locations in Kailua-Kona, Ocean View, Waimea, and more.
