Construction Cost Estimator :
We are hiring for a well ran, general contractor in south Denver, Colorado. Their primary sectors include healthcare, food service, etc. projects, ground-up developments, and tenant improvements.
Role Summary :
The Construction Cost Estimator will be instrumental in precisely evaluating expenses, overseeing bid submissions and procurement strategies, and crafting financial models. This professional should have extensive industry expertise and the capacity to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
Primary Duties :
Estimating & Financial Analysis :
- Conduct precise material quantity assessments for construction projects.
- Generate preliminary cost models and comprehensive cost projections at multiple phases.
- Develop GMP budgets and scheduling for procurement and construction.
- Assess construction expenditures from initial estimates through project design evolution.
- Clearly convey cost movement trends across multiple assignments.
- Leverage comparative analysis to present cost insights early and effectively.
Project Coordination & Implementation :
Manage bid evaluations and procurement phases to finalize GMP projections.Draft cost and contract stipulations.Create, refine, and maintain workflow methodologies to enhance consistency and best practices.Optimize material quantification and estimation procedures.Establish and sustain historical cost benchmarks, documentation, and reporting systems.Industry Expertise & Strategic Insight :
Demonstrate extensive familiarity with construction systems and cost-saving design alternatives.Comprehend design timelines, submission processes, effort levels, and financial implications.Have a thorough understanding of various commercial construction methodologies.Interpret and manage contractual obligations effectively.Collaborate with a compact, growth-oriented team dedicated to expanding our commercial market presence nationwide.Maintain a keen interest in logistics, production, and efficiency optimization.Targeted Project Sectors :
