We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team and provide support to a female client in the Saylorsburg area. If you are dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and have experience in direct support, we want to hear from you! This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a client's life while assisting them with daily living skills within the community.
Position Details:
- Hours: 16 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Please only apply if you can commit to this schedule)
- Location: Saylorsburg Area & Lehigh Valley Area
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the client with daily living activities and community engagement.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all relevant parties, including clients and families, regarding care updates and progress.
- Document and track daily and quarterly activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with clients and families to ensure the best care strategies and outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in direct support roles, particularly with adults with disabilities.
- Reliable, structured, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must have or be willing to complete Spectrum 2.0 certification (free online training will be provided by the employer prior to start).
