What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Full Potential Adult Autism Services?
Seeking an immediate hire for a Direct Support Professional with at least 2 years of experience and is willing to actively assist with daily living tasks to join our team! You would be assisting a male client who lives in Kunkletown, and needs support with daily living skills, and working around his home. The schedule is part time, and semi-flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for the best care opportunities
- Document daily and quarterly activities
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with adults with disabilities
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass background check
- Must hold a Spectrum 2.0 certificate (free online training of this courses can be provided by employer and must be completed prior to start)
*Additional orientation and yearly ongoing training will be required and provided by the agency.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
