Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Full Sail Brewing Company is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Senior Sales Manager to take charge of establishing and expanding our market presence. This is not just a management role—it’s a builder’s role. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives on creating new opportunities, forging strong distributor relationships, and executing sales strategies that will bring Full Sail to a wider audience. 

This role requires someone who is excited to take ownership of the Full Sail brands, roll up their sleeves and actively build out our sales footprint from the ground up. Success in this role will come from hunting for opportunities, developing partnerships, and making things happen—not just managing existing accounts. 

As the Senior Sales Manager, you will lead and develop our Regional Sales Manager, working closely with distributors, major chains, and key accounts to open doors and drive revenue growth. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to align sales efforts with brand strategy, product innovation, and supply chain execution.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: 

Direct reports include Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Specialist. Works closely with Operations leadership – Brewing and Supply Chain.  

 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

 

  • Take ownership of Full Sail’s market expansion, identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities. 

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that prioritizes growth, market penetration, and distributor engagement. 

  • Actively prospect and establish relationships with new distributors, key retailers, and chain accounts to grow brand visibility and volume. 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Regional Sales Manager, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and results-driven action. 

  • Build and grow a sales team over time based on tangible results and momentum in the market. 

  • Analyze market trends and performance data to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly. 

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to distributors, retail partners, and internal stakeholders to support sales growth and brand positioning. 

  • Negotiate and manage pricing strategies, including FOBs, PTRs, and PTCs, while conducting regular pricing surveys to maintain competitiveness. 

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop regional business plans and promotional initiatives that support brand growth. 

  • Partner with Operations to ensure efficient product availability, innovation alignment, and seamless order fulfillment. 

  • Conduct frequent market visits to build distributor relationships, assess retail execution, and actively grow sales presence. 

  • Represent Full Sail Brewing Company at industry events, distributor meetings, and retail promotions. 

  • Hold distributors and partners accountable for execution, ensuring they are actively engaged in driving Full Sail’s growth. 

  • Travel regularly to develop new markets, meet with distributors, and drive regional sales efforts. 

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 5 years of sales experience in the beverage industry, with a proven ability to build and expand markets. 

  • A self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset, with experience creating opportunities in underdeveloped or emerging markets. 

  • Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system and ability to navigate complex sales channels. 

  • Proven track record of identifying, securing, and growing new business through proactive sales efforts. 

  • Experience leading and developing sales teams, driving accountability, and fostering a performance-driven culture. 

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and drive results. 

  • Proficiency in sales tracking tools, CRM software, VIP, and data analysis, using insights to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

  • Willingness to travel regionally to develop new markets and maintain strong distributor and key account relationships. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Able to drive, walk and stand for extended periods of time during market visits, trade shows, industry events.  

  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for event set up, promotional materials and product sampling.  

  • Comfortable working in various environments including office settings, production environment, retail locations, distributor warehouses and event venues.
