Reports directly to the Team Leader and Receives assignments and tasks from assigned advisors. This position assists advisors with all aspects of the career services process including but not limited to: Outreaching to students/graduates regarding active job leads via telephone or email. Researching industry facility listings, as requested by the individual student. Documenting actions in CareerSync. Supporting efforts to obtain updated information for statistical purposes. Messaging all updated/pertinent information to the appropriate advisor. Assisting student questions/concerns when the advisor is unavailable. Meeting with students during Open Door or in the event an advisor is unavailable. Preparing/Sending paperwork for Internships and Employer Verifications. Support the Administrative Assistant with front desk duties as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Calls/Emails - Daily
- Gather and send research as designated by Advisor
- Updates – addresses, employment, profiles, spreadsheets, resume updates
- Forward pertinent information and resumes to Advisor
- Trigger Internship Paperwork/Insurance Forms
- Employment Verification Forms
- Document any and all meetings, correspondence daily
- Schedule and facilitate interviews for designated employers
- Take student phone calls/walk-ins when advisors are unavailable
- Learn and rotate into front desk responsibilities when receptionists are unavailable
- Respond to emails, calls and voicemails – daily; field and troubleshoot as needed
- Develop and maintain ability to advise students on resumes and cover letters
- Assist with statistical reporting campaign as designated by Team Lead
- Assist with projects, various tasks as assigned by Advisors
- Reschedule appointments or fill in when Advisor is out sick or unexpectedly unavailable
- Participate in weekly Open Door
- Facilitate needs of daily lead meeting
- Maintain student groups if appropriate and send proper announcements, event outreaches
- Request updated or lead specific resumes when speaking with student/graduate
- Make the most of every graduate contact—by phone or email-to gather updated statistical, employment, and contact information

Education and/or Experience:
- High school Diploma
- Some college preferred.
Computer/Equipment Skills:
- Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office, database management) and Internet
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands :
Employee must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work is performed in an office environment and may include sitting for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
