Job Summary
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, performing nightly financial reconciliations, and providing exceptional guest services. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs for guests.
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics.
- Knowledge of OnQ is preferred
- Able to reconcile POS and banquet reporting to create a managers report
- Assist guests with requests related to their stay, including room changes or special accommodations.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality management.
- Experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective guest relations.
- Proficiency in customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems is a plus.
