What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Full Service Hospitality?
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of work experience required.
- Previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 25-50 pounds frequently.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Change and replace all bed linens.
- Sanitize and clean all restrooms.
- Dust/wipe down all room surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
- Vacuum and mop all floors
- Restock all room amenities.
- Assure all rooms are set up to hotel’s standards of cleanliness.
- Cleans and maintains personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels and amenities.
- Informs the Housekeeping Supervisor when rooms are ready for new guests.
- Ability to sustain direct contact with the public; must establish high degree of customer service (smile, eye contact, positive personal presentation etc.) and high volume of interaction with guests and staff.
- Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff.
- Ability to abide by Grooming and Uniform Standards.
- Assist with Opening - deep cleaning
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
