We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the seamless operation of our hotel.
Position Overview: The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our full-service hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, maximizing revenue, and maintaining operational excellence across all departments. This role requires a seasoned hospitality professional with a strong focus on leadership, guest experience, financial management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance departments.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize guest satisfaction, hotel performance, and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance through key metrics, such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR), and adjust strategies to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of department heads and staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure the hotel consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences by upholding service standards and addressing any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, conferences, and group bookings to maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and the local community to enhance the hotel’s reputation and visibility.
- Manage and implement employee training and development programs to foster skill enhancement and promote a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to drive brand awareness and increase business through targeted campaigns and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations, including those related to employee welfare and guest safety.
- Prepare and manage the hotel’s annual budget and financial forecasts, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a senior management role in a full-service hotel, including at least 2 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Proven success in managing all areas of hotel operations, including front desk, food and beverage, housekeeping, sales, and event planning.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, etc.).
