Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our medical team and oversee clinical operations at our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical specialties, including Urology, Diagnostic Radiology, Pediatric Neuropsychology, and Sleep Medicine. As CMO, you will play a crucial role in shaping our clinical policies, enhancing patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across all departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices.
- Oversee the performance of medical staff, including recruitment, training, and evaluation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements within the facility.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, including discharge planning and outpatient services.
- Engage in direct patient care as needed, including performing procedures such as suturing and ventilating patients.
- Facilitate communication between medical staff and administration to promote a cohesive working environment.
- Participate in community outreach programs to enhance public health awareness.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably as a CMO or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices related to Labor Delivery, Level I Trauma Center operations, and outpatient care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with current healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
