Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced manager to oversee the daily operations of our Specialty Dental Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills in a clinic setting, preferably in the dental setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clinic runs efficiently while providing high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Ensure quality customer service by effective communication and personal attention
- Provide work direction with clear responsibility for the coordination of resources to effectively support the day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the clinic.
- Oversee the staff activities to provide a consistent patient experience
- Assist or direct patient concerns, complaints and issues to the appropriate department
- Coordinate the needs of the doctors and serve as liaison between doctors and support staff to mediate and resolve any issues as necessary
- Ensure staff and patient safety is maintained at all times following OSHA, CDC and HIPAA guidelines
- Fill in as needed to account for absenteeism or high-volume periods
- Work in coordination with Human Resources on staffing and recruiting needs
- Maintain a clean work environment to meet OSHA and Center for Disease Control standards
- Maintain high-integrity and honesty in all affairs
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Experience
- Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with patients, families, doctors, and staff
