Job Overview
Full Smile Management is a dynamic Dental Support Organization (DSO) headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, with additional offices in San Antonio. We are a dental specialty-centered organization with practices in Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and General Dentistry.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department and drive organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human resources management, employment labor law, and best practices in workforce development. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage HR operations, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including HR sourcing, employee evaluation, and onboarding of new hires.
- Oversee payroll administration
- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws and regulations.
- Utilize data analysis skills to assess HR metrics and improve processes.
- Lead performance management initiatives to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create a high-performance culture that values diversity and inclusion.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in human resources management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with UKG or similar HRIS systems for workforce management.
- Strong data analysis skills for interpreting HR metrics and trends.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
