Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with product inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a well-presented sales floor.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer service.
• Assist in training new staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and inventory management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
• Experience with retail math is a plus for managing stock levels effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.64 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
