Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and bussing tables.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak service times.
- Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as needed, contributing to special events and functions.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service needs.
- Support culinary staff in various tasks, including inventory management and food storage.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work within a team setting.
