Job Summary:
As the Security Supervisor, you will oversee security operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and employees. You will lead a team of security officers, enforce mall policies, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage security personnel, ensuring professionalism and adherence to company policies.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the mall premises.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate security officers to maintain high performance standards.
- Handle customer service interactions, assisting shoppers and tenants with security concerns.
- Enforce mall policies and work closely with management to address safety issues.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and communicate with local authorities when needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role (retail/mall experience preferred).
- Certifications: Must have a valid Security D license.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technology: Familiarity with security systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, respond quickly in emergencies, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
