GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director-Operations Excellence, responsible for initiating and managing various programs of a highly complex nature for the department. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing various initiatives to ensure successful program outcomes. Collaborates with leaders, cross-functional teams, physicians, stakeholders, and external partners to drive program objectives, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality healthcare services. Supports the department in achievement of their strategic goals by assisting in the timely and cost-effective delivery of all projects in a professional, motivated, and customer-focused manner.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops program objectives, strategies, and timelines in alignment with department goals.
· Creates comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
· Coordinates and monitors program activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines and deliverables.
· Implements effective program management methodologies and tools to track progress and evaluate performances.
· Collaborates with internal teams to define program requirements and objectives.
· Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective communication and alignment of goals.
· Conducts regular meetings, presentations, and status updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
· Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.
· Fosters a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
· Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor program effectiveness and impact.
· Conducts regular evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
· Prepares and presents comprehensive reports on program status, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
· Ensures program compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
· Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive program innovation and effectiveness.
· Collaborates with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory concerns or issues.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
· Three (3) years of related experience in health care operations leadership, process engineering/improvement, analytics leadership, project management, Healthcare Administrative Fellowship or equivalent.
· Proven experience in program management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
· Working knowledge of healthcare clinical and administrative operations, performance measurement, regulations, and industry trends. • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and motivating crossfunctional teams.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
· Proficient in project management software, collaboration tools, and MS Office Suite.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
· Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the Henry Ford Health Customer Service Policy
· Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services.
