As a COTA, you will administer occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with physicians' orders and the occupational therapy plan of care. Additionally, you will participate in patient and family teaching and continuously maintain your licensure and professional expertise through ongoing education.
The ideal candidate for this position will have graduated from an accredited two-year Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, hold a current certification as a COTA, and possess current CPR certification. Competency in all procedures within the scope of practice is essential, as is a thorough understanding of the range of treatments needed by patients across various age groups.
