Global brand is seeking a Marketing Product and Promotions Specialist with strong analytical and operational acumen to join their team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring promotional offers are accurately built into the company’s internal system, effectively communicated across channels, and aligned with overall revenue and inventory goals. The ideal candidate will bring a background in marketing and a solid understanding of financial operations such as revenue management or pricing strategy. This role requires a collaborative mindset, a critical thinker who can translate marketing initiatives into business-driving actions, and someone comfortable navigating data, systems, and cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates closely with Promotions, Revenue Management, and Sales teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns designed to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Monitors product inventory levels and prioritizes promotions based on dates of need, communicating recommendations across internal departments.
- Analyzes the effectiveness of pricing strategies, promotional offers, and program combinations across all products and sales channels.
- Partners with IT and key stakeholders to ensure accurate setup of offers in the reservation system, tracking rate-of-sale performance and making adjustments as needed.
- Reviews and reports on the performance of incentive and consortia programs, including account-specific promotions, using data-driven insights to influence future strategy.
- Provides accurate promotional content—including dates, pricing, terms, and conditions—for marketing deliverables such as flyers and landing pages.
- Ensures promotional accuracy across all customer- and advisor-facing content, including website, emails, and sales tools.
- Collaborates with internal teams to identify and implement automated tools to track promotional inventory and performance.
- Conducts regular competitive analyses to benchmark against market trends in pricing, promotions, and travel products.
- Maintains and updates promotional resources and price files used by Marketing, Sales, and Reservations teams.
- Acts as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, and the Contact Center to ensure alignment on all promotions.
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2 years of experience in marketing, revenue management, business operations, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with reservation and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Experience working with data to generate actionable insights; comfort interpreting performance metrics and trends.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industries is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with project management software and marketing automation tools is a plus.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
