Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and maintain a safe environment.
- Social activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and Agency Management to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Advocate for resident rights and dignity in all interactions.
- Support individuals with disabilities by promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care, social work, or dementia care is preferred.
- Knowledge of resident rights and best practices in caregiving is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and Agency.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are critical attributes for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or transferring clients when necessary.
