The Fullerton School District seeks a qualified candidate for a full-time, exempt management position to support leadership within our Business Department. The Financial Analyst, under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and the Director of Business and Fiscal Services, will oversee bond-related activities, including accounting, budgeting, auditing, reporting, and disclosure. This role will also manage financial obligations and enrollment projections in relation to the District’s financial programs, activities, projects, and services. Additionally, the position will assist in identifying funding sources, associated costs, and opportunities for reimbursement and cost reduction for current and future facility projects.
POSITION DETAILS
The Fullerton School District seeks a dynamic and highly organized leader to manage bond-related activities, including analytics, technical data, accounting, budgeting, construction in progress, and other tasks. This individual will collaborate closely with the Business Department and other team members involved in bond projects, including construction management, facilities, accounting, purchasing, and more. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, be able to meet monthly deadlines, manage frequent interruptions, and efficiently multitask. Proficiency in advanced Excel, database management, and a drive for innovation are essential. Given the critical nature of bond activities to the District, we are looking for a detail-oriented leader motivated by this role's challenges and high demands.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a field related to the knowledge and abilities requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learned accredited as recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation is required.
Experience:
•Three (3) years of experience in professional financial and management analysis and projection is required.
License:
•Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and the ability to travel between job sites is required.
Salary : $8,431 - $9,309
