POSITION DETAILS
The Fullerton School District is seeking qualified individuals for part-time positions in assisting students individually, or in groups, as part of an after school or extended day enrichment program designed to expand learning opportunities.
This career opportunity is fewer than 20 hours per week, 9.5-months/year with paid holidays, sick leave and vacation.
Openings for part-time positions at the After School Program have set hours of 2:30-6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 12:30-6 p.m. Wednesday. Applicants for these positions MUST be available to work the posted hours Monday through Friday.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education: Graduation from high school equivalent. Applicants must also show sufficiency in educational requirements by meeting one of the following requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA), formerly known as the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB):
• Possession of two years of higher education (i.e., 48 units or more); Or
• Possession of an Associates Degree or higher from an institution of higher learning accredited as recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation; Or
• Possession of proof that indicates you have passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST); Or
• Obtain a passing score on the Fullerton School District Preliminary Instructional Assistant Proficiency Assessment
AND
All Instructional Assistant candidates must take and obtain a passing score on the Fullerton School District Instructional Assistant Proficiency Assessment
Experience: Recent experience in working with children or youth groups, and instruction in a physical fitness and recreation environment.
Salary : $18 - $23
