What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist - (12042024) position at Fullerton Elementary School District?
Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services, the final candidate will serve as a School Psychologist to students in grades Preschool through 8th; evaluate needs of all children within the educational system or school; assist students in understanding and seeking solutions to social, emotional, or academic problems and issues; serve as a resource to the site principal pertaining to student behavior management, learning strategies, and welfare and attendance concerns; plan and carry out programs to enable children to attain maximum achievement and adjustment.
Interviews will be scheduled at the department's discretion upon receipt of applications screened in. Candidates not selected for the position may be offered the opportunity to serve as a substitute school psychologist.
