Fullerton Pet Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team starting in April for our grand opening.

Job Description:
As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant at Fullerton Pet Clinic, you will play a key role in supporting our veterinary team and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include helping with patient care, performing receptionist duties, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and communicating with pet owners. We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and enjoys working with both animals and people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the veterinarian during exams and procedures, including restraining animals, taking vitals, and preparing medical instruments.
- Perform basic medical tasks such as administering medications, taking blood samples, and preparing lab tests.
- Provide compassionate care to animals, including feeding, cleaning, and general comfort during their visit.
- Greet clients, schedule appointments, and manage patient records through our clinic’s system.
- Answer client questions and concerns with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including sterilizing equipment, cleaning kennels, and ensuring the clinic meets hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician/assistant preferred, but not required.
- Passion for animals and dedication to their well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and animal care is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
