Key Responsibilities
- Drive a school bus safely and efficiently
- Transport students to and from school
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and student ridership
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid CDL with required endorsements
- Must have knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance, and transportation of passengers
