Job Summary:
As an Onsite Manager at Full Steam Staffing, you will be instrumental in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. Your role encompasses ensuring workforce efficiency, maintaining safety protocols, and fostering strong client relationships to uphold service excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise onsite employees, ensuring adherence to attendance and punctuality policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to onsite team members, promoting professionalism and teamwork.
- Prioritize tasks to meet operational deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with workers' compensation regulations and manage workplace injury incidents.
- Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and certify employees in Material Handling Equipment operation.
- Perform regular safety walks to identify and rectify potential hazards, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Administer timekeeping programs to accurately record employee hours and manage payroll processes.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
- Implement disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Maintain and update employee databases and records regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist the Onsite Manager with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; higher education or relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse or distribution center management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and strong computer literacy.
- Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) is essential for effective communication with the workforce.
