Job Title: Food Production/Packaging
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr.
Shift: 1st (6 AM- 2:30 PM)
Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D
Job purpose
Uses manual and automatic equipment to assist with the packaging of baked goods. Execute one or more steps along a production line; including the handling of raw materials, cooked, or finished product.
Duties and responsibilities
- Make dough’s, batters, mixes, fillings to recipe specs
- Operate equipment, following safety procedures
- Inventory product and determine customer needs
- Work off of task sheet, communicate to supervisor when issues arise
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 Years of professional working experience
- General Labor, Warehouse or assembly experience required
- Food Service and/or Manufacturing experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Quality and safety minded
- Proven reliable and self-motivated
Physical requirements
- Able to work at a fast pace, on a production line
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and requested, including, Aprons, Gloves, Hair/Head Cover, Facial Cover, etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce.
- Able push/pull/move 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be flexible and able to work overtime
