Warehouse Associate II - Coffee Distribution
Location: Oakland, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr
Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D
Job Description:
- Reviewing resumes of prospective clients.
- Pick orders and package online, subscription, wholesale, and retail coffee orders.
- Weigh out and package coffee products.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas daily, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and documenting on checklists.
- Utilize WMS Scanners for inventory management tasks including receiving, putaway, and movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Receive equipment and supplies into the warehouse.
- Operate Forklift, manual and electric pallet jacks, as needed.
- Conduct inventory and cycle counts as required.
- Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
What You'll Need:
- 2-4 years of previous experience in a medium to large warehouse and/or packaging environment.
- Strong command of English language, both written and verbal.
- Experience in roles requiring attention to detail and adherence to guidelines, policies, or procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with professional and positive communication.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- ServSafe Food Handler and Forklift Certification are advantageous.
