Overnight Direct Support Mentor - On Call
Pay rate: $16 - 18 per hour DOE
Full Time, On - site position: Needville, TX
Schedule: On call as needed for the 11pm - 7am shift

As an On Call Direct Support Mentor, you’ll work with women ages 18 - 28, guiding them through experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, hiking, and fitness. You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental health and well being. This role is ideal for those who value flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to professional and personal boundaries.
At Fulshear, we empower young women to heal and build confidence through evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, equine-assisted therapy, and trauma-focused modalities. Our beautiful 34 acre ranch provides a nurturing environment for growth and transformation.
Responsibilities
Client Support: Build meaningful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and assisting with daily activities.
Treatment Implementation: Apply treatment strategies daily to drive client progress.
Crisis Management: Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, calm environment.
Attachment-Based Care: Foster attuned relationships with empathy and provide constructive feedback.
Campus Upkeep: Support a clean, welcoming space by assisting with chores and maintenance.
Documentation: Keep thorough, accurate records of client interactions and interventions.
Professionalism & Compliance: Uphold company values, follow policies, and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
- Age: 21 years of age or older
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
- Skills: Quick decision - making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
- Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
- Background Checks: Must pass pre - employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Texas state laws.
