Overnight Direct Support Mentor

Hourly Pay rate: $16 - $18 per hour DOE

Full-Time, On - site position in Stafford, TX

Schedule: Wed - Sat 11:00pm - 7:00am

Join us at Fulshear as a Mentor in our Transitional Living Program in Stafford, TX, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young women aged 18 - 28.

As a Direct Support Mentor, you’ll play a key role in their journey towards independence and improved mental wellness. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you'll assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and provide transportation to appointments and activities. Your compassionate support will help residents feel empowered and connected as they work toward their goals.

Responsibilities

• Client Support: Build supportive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and assisting with daily needs.
• Treatment Application: Implement treatment strategies to drive client progress.
• Crisis Management: Use de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe environment.
• Attachment-Based Care: Foster attuned relationships and provide constructive feedback.
• Campus Maintenance: Support cleanliness, chores, and address maintenance issues.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate records of client interactions and staff interventions.
• Professionalism & Compliance: Uphold company values, policies, and time management.

Qualifications

• Age: 21 years of age or older
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
• Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
• Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training 
• Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Texas state laws.
• *To comply with specific program needs, this position has a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) that requires the hiring of a female candidate. The duties of this overnight role include monitoring and assisting female clientele in duties specific to overnight care and safety. *
