Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Executive Director role located in Wauseon, OH at FCEDC. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the organization, managing daily operations, overseeing economic development initiatives, fostering partnerships, and representing FCEDC in the community. Additionally, the Executive Director will be involved in strategic planning, financial management, and promoting the organization's mission and vision.
Qualifications

- Financial Management and Budgeting skills
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills
- Experience in Economic Development or related field
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of Local Government processes and regulations
- Experience with Grant Writing and Fundraising is a plus
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Public Administration or related business field and or equivalent of at least 3 years’ experience leading an economic development organization with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong organizational and planning skills including time management with the ability to think strategically.
• A self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset including a healthy work/life balance.
• Adaptability and ability to embrace change as organization projects, strategies and technologies evolve.
• Advanced task management and organizational skills with primary focus on exceeding member expectations.
• Must be able to analyze data, determine trends and apply the results.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures for work areas including on-site at members’ locations.
• Fundraising experience, particularly in a nonprofit environment.
Salary range $90,000 -$120,000 depending on experience plus bonus incentives. Benefits include retirement plan with paid time off and holidays.
