Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center's Heart & Vascular Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Echo Sonographer to join our team. The Echo Sonographer is responsible for performing a variety of cardiac testing procedures, including EKG, Holter monitoring, Stress Testing, and Echocardiography. The ideal candidate will exhibit independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative while promoting a positive environment for interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cardiac testing, including EKG, Holter monitoring, Stress Testing, and Echocardiography.
- Utilize independent judgment and technical skills to produce accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain and ensure proper function of equipment used in diagnostic testing.
- Provide patient care with a focus on comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate favorable guest relations, maintaining a professional demeanor and promoting the values of Fulton County Health Center in daily work performance.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- May assist with other related patient care duties as needed.

Requirements
- Two-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be registered (or registry eligible) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as an echocardiographer (RDCS) or registered (or registry eligible) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Proficiency in performing echocardiograms, EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
