Summary
Ensures data quality, designs reports, and develops data analytics in the HRIS system
Essential Duties
- Validates SAP SuccessFactors data integrity through regular data audits
- Responds to data requests from FCS Departments and external agencies
- Supports the strategic use of data analytics to drive human capital management throughout the District
- Collaborates with SuccessFactors Coordinator to design business reports and dashboards
- Assembles, cleans, manages, and analyzes large employee datasets for accountability, research, evaluation, and performance management projects
- Develops, defines, and calculates HR metrics
- Interprets and communicates findings through written reports and oral presentations
- Advises and assists departments/schools with data analysis related to District and school planning and assists in gathering and interpreting data they require
- Accesses data from District data sources such as the student information system and data warehouse; Utilizes statistical analysis, reporting, and presentation tools such as SPSS, STATA, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and business intelligence reporting tools such as Cognos and MS Reporting Services and Tableau to conduct analysis and present data
- Exhibits a professional team player mindset in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships
- Performs other duties assigned by the appropriate administrator
Required Education
Certification/Licensure
Experience Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience working with data analysis and/or research design, preferably in education
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy of information, including the ability to organize large amounts of data and track multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities for analysis and use in consultation with numerous stakeholders
- Experience working with data of varying quality and from varied source systems
- Experience in SAP HCM or SuccessFactors
- Knowledge of Databases, Table Structures, and SQL
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, VBA, and PowerPoint
- Considerable knowledge of educational research and evaluation methodologies and procedures (both quantitative and qualitative), statistical analysis, and presentation of findings
- Considerable knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistical techniques
- Knowledge of survey design and interpretation
- Experience with large, complex data sets, including data cleaning, compilation, validation and merging
- Extensive experience in the use of SPSS or STATA for statistical analysis
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with school system personnel and the general public, and work with diverse groups of people
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
