*THE SALARY FOR THIS POSITION IS $68, 967.00 AND IS NON NEGOTIABLE*
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and three or more years of supervisory or management experience in a court system or legal field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specific License or Certification Required: Affirmation as a sworn Deputy Clerk of the Court.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires knowledge of Principles and practices of business and/or public administration. Laws, rules, and regulations governing maintenance of records and documents. Principles and practices of records management, including system design, administration, and operations. Techniques used to conduct legal research and/or statistical analysis and to locate records and documents. Digital records/image management technology and terminology. Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. General office practices, procedures, equipment, and technology.Requires skill in organizing and prioritizing work. Using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Conducting research, performing statistical and other analysis, and making recommendations. Delivering high quality, customer-focused service. Resolving problems and making decisions. Interpreting and enforcing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Conducting legal research and locating file records. Maintaining security of records and file documents. Creating and managing records management systems. Verifying and correcting filing data and records.Implementing, interpreting, and explaining records procedures Using spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation, financial/accounting and other software to gather, organize, analyze, and present information. Understanding, using, and explaining Court-specific computer applications to manage court processes, gather and analyze statistics, and create reports. Building sustainable working relationships with other County personnel, officials, and the public. Communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisor, and the public. Generating enthusiasm and support for program objectives.
Physical Requirements:Work is typically performed in an office-like environment. May work in high conflict situations and with difficult, sometimes dangerous parties. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, fingering, lifting, and carrying. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Manages multiple units or a division within the Fulton County court system and is responsible for the operations and staff of an assigned area. Oversees court programs, document processing and recording, indexing, filings and/or fee collection, general administration, and other court related activities as required or assigned.
