Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles that meet their needs and budget
- Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends and competitor offerings
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the dealership's inventory manager
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate pricing, discounts, and financing options for customers
- Cold call potential customers to generate leads and schedule appointments for test drives
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, including follow-up after the sale
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer interactions and sales opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and effectively convey information about vehicle features and benefits
- Proficient in basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and financing options
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced sales environment and meet sales targets
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, models, and features
