What’s on offer?
Due to continued growth in our Infrastructure Services business, we are currently looking for a Full-time Quarry Operator to join Fulton Hogan’s Blue Rock Quarry.
Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, the Quarry Operator will be responsible for a range of tasks and will be a reliable and strong team player. We are looking for someone who enjoys a hands-on role whilst working outdoors. Previous Quarry Operation experience is preferred but not essential. Outstanding candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn will be strongly considered.
The team primarily operates Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work
required. Duties also include but are not limited to:
- Operating fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile plant.
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on equipment and plant as required.
- Compliance with all Fulton Hogan Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and targets.
We are seeking:
- Experience on fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile plant (preferred), together with the skills to undertake plant repairs and maintenance (not essential).
- Valid ticket and licences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cohesively in a team.
- A positive approach to safety that delivers a zero harm environment.
- Be available to work Saturdays when required.
