They specialize in buying ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal, electronics, cardboard, and plastics, offering logistics, on-site training, and brokerage services.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Marketing & Business Development professional with at least 5 years of experience. The role is located in Atlanta, GA, with some remote work flexibility. Responsibilities include conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, managing sales activities, overseeing customer service, and effective communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Inside Sales:
- Generate and qualify sales leads through outbound calls.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend recycling solutions that meet their requirements.
- Follow up with leads and manage the sales pipeline to meet monthly/quarterly goals.
- Support sales team with closing deals and processing sales orders.
Marketing Support:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns (digital and print) to promote our services and expand market reach.
- Help create marketing content for social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate events, trade shows, and community outreach efforts to enhance brand awareness.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Ensure excellent customer service, including resolving inquiries, handling service issues, and addressing customer feedback.
- Assist in onboarding new customers and educating them on our services and processes.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the management and operations teams to ensure sales and marketing initiatives align with business goals.
- Collaborate with the team to improve internal processes and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM software (we use Hubspot).
- Experience with digital marketing, including social media management and email campaigns, is a plus.
- Knowledge of the recycling industry or a background in environmental services is a bonus but not required.
