Position Summary:
Fulton Science Academy Private School is hiring a Secondary Math Teacher (6th-12th) for the 2025-2026 academic school year. Fulton Science Academy primarily serves advanced and gifted students and prides itself on providing a working atmosphere for our teachers to grow as professionals and individuals.
The candidate hired for this position will be expected to provide a student centered, supportive classroom environment aimed to help students achieve success. The classroom environment established should be one that balances students’ academic and social emotional needs in alignment with Fulton Science Academy’s core values.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid GA teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred:
- Teaching experience in Math
- Gifted endorsement
- Master’s degree in education field
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching Math to Middle and High School Students
- Show evidence of differentiated instruction for all students by incorporating strategies for engagement, rigor, and climate and culture within the classroom.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the classroom and workplace.
- Develop and maintain genuine, positive and consistent communication with parents, faculty and staff.
- Work collaboratively with Math Department and Secondary team colleagues.
- Contribute to and benefit from the school community.
- Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 7:20am - 4:15pm
Salary: $68,000 - $78,000
