Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to food safety standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage techniques are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline meal preparation and service.
- Assist in menu planning and catering for special events as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas.
- Provide excellent customer service in a restaurant setting, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
- Background in meal preparation and food service
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services
- Exposure to fine dining environments is advantageous

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
