The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and verifying electrical and control systems for various Fulton products and systems, in a manner that is consistent with the Fulton values and operating philosophy. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing aspects of Customer Orders and Company projects/initiatives.

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and verifying electrical and control systems for various Fulton products and systems, in a manner that is consistent with the Fulton values and operating philosophy. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing aspects of Customer Orders and Company projects/initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Customer Orders – Creates, maintains, reviews, approves and designates drawings for customer orders. Identify and specify any special order electrical components that need to be purchased to fulfill the requirements of the order. Works with Project Manager to ensure pricing, availability and specifications align with project needs.
- Code and Product Certification Compliance – Ensures the electrical aspects of all new products, existing products, and modified/custom designs meet the applicable codes and standards.
- Technical Support – Provides technical support for Manufacturing (in-process and final electrical inspections, coordinate electrical testing, implementation of new drawings/components/methods, communicates quality feedback), Customers (communicate with relevant internal and external people as needed to resolve technical issues regarding controls and electrical design), and other groups (Product Engineering, Field Service, Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Planning).
- Documentation – Ensures appropriate documentation is obtained and maintained for all projects, inclusive of appropriate filing for Customer orders, and for other Engineering (ECR’s, CAR’s, RMA’s, WR’s) or Service (call logs) related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):
- 2 year degree or higher in electrical or related field.
- 2 years min. electrical and or controls design experience
- AutoCAD Electrical Experience preferred
- Knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Design Principles
- Communication – Ability to ensure information is passed on to others who should be kept informed. Ability to express oneself clearly in conversation and interaction with others. Ability to express oneself clearly in business writing.

- Thoroughness – Ensuring work and information is complete and accurate; carefully preparing for meetings and presentations, following up with orders to ensure the agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
- Repetitive Motion – Substantial movement/motion of the wrists, hands and fingers.
- Sitting – The body is supported by buttocks and back and employee needs to remain seated for extended periods of time.
- Vision – Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, inspection involving small defects or welds, use and operation of machines, use of measurement devices, etc.
