OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: The RMA (Return Material Authorization) Coordinator oversees the entire process for the return of nonconforming parts. The position is the main contact for communication of warranty issues related to purchased materials which includes returns from our customers as well as material issues found in production in manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy.

Accountabilities
- Maintains the status in the document management system for any nonconforming parts (NCP) issues.
- Receives and inventories all returned nonconforming parts.
- Communicates with vendors to coordinate a disposition of either credit for the parts, physical replacements, or denial of a warranty claim.
- Notifies all interested parties of final outcomes and makes the appropriate system adjustments to inventory.
- Assists Inventory Control as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional business environment.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Professional, and have ability to learn new software programs.
- Reliable, self-starter with strong organizational skills, and extreme attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high volume, high quality work in an expedient and efficient manner.
- Communication: Ability to ensure information is passed on to others who should be kept informed. Ability to express oneself clearly in conversation and interaction with others. Ability to express oneself clearly in business writing.
- Initiative: Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it.
