Preschool Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. Ideally someone with classroom experience. Looking for teacher who can work 8:30am-5:30pm.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and overall child development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
• Utilize Montessori methods to encourage independent learning and exploration among children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress through standardized testing and observational assessments.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns related to their education or welfare.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes learning and creativity.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

MUST HAVE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION UNITS

• Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices.
• Experience in lesson planning, literacy education, and special education is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Early Childhood Education or related fields are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
